Super Cute Halloween Costume Ideas!!! - Kathleen

So it's really late to be doing this, but you never know when somebody needs some super crazy advice really fast.

Hello readers! How are you? Super psyched for Halloween? I am. I have been looking through may boxes of stuff, and I found a Halloween costume I made in 2 hours a few years ago. I didn't know what to do, so I cut up a sheet to look like a ghost. No offense to anybody, but my mom said I looked like a Muslim child. :/

So I thought I would make a list of (mostly) simple costumes to make if any of you are in a panic about costumes! Lets get started!
This one is soo simple! Just go to a store and find some animal footie hoodies, which I can find at a Target all the time. Cut out a heart on a piece of red paper, fabric paint ty on it, ty it on a string around your neck, and there you go!

All you need is a blue dress and some white fabric for an apron. Sew the edges to create a clean edge and use a ribbon to create a tie!

Ok, so this one is more complicated, but you can buy it at the link I put at the very end. It's a Black Widow costume.

I don't know what to say about it other than that it's amazing!

Blue fitted workout shirt, navy blue sports bra, workout gloves, blue or black pants, a chunky belt, bunny ears and BAM. You are the coolest person on the block. You would have to make a police badge out of something though.

This is by far the cutest. The costume itself is pretty simple, and the wig is just cotton balls. I won't go into detail though because I don't think any of our readers are babies...

A PINNEAPLE! This one is so simple it drives me nuts! Literally a yellow shirt dress, and a headband with leaves sewn on does it! I would wear some bright pink lipstick to look super tropical.

We all know who this is, it's hilarious.

You could be Thing 1 and Thing 2! All you need is red t-shirts and iron on sheets you can print the words out on!

This is the most complicated. You would have to find a dragon onesie and a mask... Although you could probably face paint the mask part instead of having to find a mask.

Thank you so much for reading! Comment down below and tell me what you are being for Halloween!

Creative Pumpkin Carving Ideas- Emma

Hello everyone! I know this post is a bit early but I got super inspired and I'm sure you all won't mind the early post ;) Are you excited for Halloween? I'm SO excited. I'm going pumpkin picking with a couple of friends on Saturday. So I got the idea to share some creative carved pumpkins that I found on Pinterest with you all!

Isn't this adorable?? I love Monsters Inc. so I think this is super cute. Probably isn't too difficult to do either.

This one is so funny xD. It wouldn't be too hard to do but would be a pain to clean up.

Isn't this the coolest idea?? I really want to try this out!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this one! I've never seen anything like this. Sadly, I lack the creativity and talent to make this xD.

This one is pretty simple but adorable if you're a pet lover.

Here's another one that wouldn't be too challenging to do. I'm thinking about doing this one because it's soooo cute.

Look at how AMAZING this is! I have no words.

After looking at all of these creative pumpkins, we all know most of ours will turn out like this one. Not that anything is wrong with it...it's just...yeah.

That's all for now! I had a ton of fun writing this post so I hope you all had fun reading it ;). If you want to make any of the pumpkins listed you can visit my Pinterest board, "Fall", where I have the templates plus some extra things! I hope you all have a FANTASTIC Halloween and I will talk to you all next week!

St. Louis Arch - Kathleen

Boy howdy it's been awhile!

Hi everybody! I'm so sorry it's been two weeks! I really have no excuses for this, I had a ton of time to write a post, I was just lazy and tired.

But I took a ton of pictures and went cool places!

We (my family and I) went to the Gateway Arch in St. Louis Missouri! My grandparents were in town so we thought we would do a little sight seeing. This is going to be a short post, but after two weeks, I think you guys will appreciate any post!

So this is the Arch for any of our readers from other countries. It is six hundred thirty feet (192 meters) tall. The floor at the top is not flat, and the building sways 15 feet when it is windy. You have to take and elevator to the top. The elevator is super tiny and shaky. But once you get up, it's super cool!

I took a foot picture on the side of the building, but you can't really tell. A picture of my grandparents, my sister, and I is beneath.
I also took a cool picture of the cathedral nearby.

In case you can't tell, these pictures are pretty heavily edited. The look awesome though, so... yeah.

So there's that super short post. Sorry about the lack of content the last week or two, but that will change. We have some marvelous ideas coming up in December!

Love you all, and have a super awesome week!

10 Things to Do When You're Sick -Emma

I'm back! Sorry for being gone last week, I've been really sick and couldn't do anything. But I'm here with a new blog post! This week's post is 10 things you can do while you're sick!

1. Have a Netflix movie marathon or binge watch TV shows. I feel like this tip is something everyone does when they have to stay in bed all day. So I came up with a list of some of my favorite TV shows and movies on Netflix!

TV Shows:
-Pretty Little Liars
-Switched at Birth
-Gilmore Girls
-The Vampire Diaries
-Stranger Things
-Once Upon a Time

Movies:
-Home
-Zootopia
-Mean Girls
-Clueless
-E.T
-Charlie and the Chocolate Factory

2. Take a bath! Grab a bath bomb, some candles, and a cup of tea. Super relaxing (and the tea helps if you have a cold :))

3. Draw in a sketchbook or color. This is one of my favorite things to do when I'm sick. I did this practically all day yesterday! For some ideas of things to draw you can check out my Art board on Pinterest.

4. Make a Pinterest board and go crazy pinning tons of things to it.

5. Watch YouTube videos!
Here are some of my favorite channels:
-Zoella
-MyLifeAsEva
-Bethany Mota
-Lucas
-Shaytards
-Bratayley

6. Study or catch up on schoolwork. I know this one is pretty boring but you'll be thankful you did it later ;)

7. Make a pillow or blanket fort and sleep in it! This is fun only if you have enough energy to actually make the fort... and clean it up...

8. Write a list of things you want to do when you feel better. For some reason this motivates me a lot and helps me feel better.

9.  Cuddle up with your pet. They'll enjoy the extra attention.

10. SLEEP.

That's it! I hope you all enjoyed this post! I had fun writing it :). Sorry it wasn't fall-related like I said it would be in my last post. Since I've been sick all week I thought this would be fun to do. Anyway, see you all next week!

To Do Lists - Kathleen

It's already October... We have 2 full months left in the year... I'M SO EXCITED!!!!!!

Hi my lovelies!

How are you? So I just realized that I haven't checked anything off my bucket list this year, therefore, I decided to make a simple list of five things I have to do before the end of the year. So here they are.

So there they are. I believe that bucket lists are important things to take seriously; we need a certain amount of spontaneous go get 'ems in life if you know what I mean.

Tell me your thoughts!

Sorry this is such a short post, but my grandparents are in town and we are having lots of fun!

If you go to my pinterest account (I'm Piper McLean a.k.a Kathleen) and follow me I will let you see my entire Bucket List. :D

I love you people! Thank you for reading!

Halloween Dept. 56 - Kathleen

I am pretty much obsessed with Dept. 56...

Hi guys! It's fall, and it's getting dark. The only reason that is cool is because it's like 3.

So I've been decorating for fall lately, and I just dragged out my mom's fall Department 56 houses to set up. I put them on the piano, and then took them off, because pictures are necessary for an awesome blog post, right? Right.

These are the pieces I used in this set up, I don't think they are all from the same line, but I'm not totally sure...

  • Spooky House
  • Spooky Mansion
  • Spooky Trees
  • Haunted Tree House
  • Owl Tree (I don't know what this one is coming)
  • Pumpkins
I'm super excited to show you the pictures! I had to put paper towels under the houses and bits, because it would scratch the piano and we don't have the brown felt yet. Also, The houses are not plugged in, so the lights inside are not on. Here are the pictures!

So there's that awesome collection. Can you see my love of Dept. 56? We also have the Dickens Village, so if you guys really like this one, I can show you that one when I set it up! (JK, Imma show you anyways! :D) What's your favorite fall decoration?

So I hope you like it! Enjoy the lovely October colors!
